Cookie Policy
1. What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website.
2. Cookies and Storage We Use on the Site
The Site does not use advertising cookies. The following are the strictly necessary cookie and browser storage technologies, which work without your consent:
- parpa_lead_csrf (strictly necessary cookie): created temporarily when you fill in the contact or quote-request form, to verify the submission comes from a real user (CSRF protection). It has no advertising or tracking purpose.
- Quote list (localStorage): the quote list you build on product pages is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and is never sent to our servers.
- Your cookie choice (localStorage): whether you accepted or declined in the cookie notice is stored in your browser's local storage so the notice does not reappear on every page; it is never sent to our servers.
- Fidus admin panel session cookie: used only so Parpa staff can sign in to the management panel; it does not affect Site visitors.
3. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics)
We use Google LLC's Google Analytics 4 service to measure, statistically, which pages of the Site are visited and how it is used. These cookies are set only if you choose "Accept" in the cookie notice; if you do not consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
- _ga: holds a random identifier used to distinguish your browser. Retention: 2 years.
- _ga_<container-id>: holds your visit's session state (start time, number of pages viewed). Retention: 2 years.
Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, visit duration, device and browser type, approximate location (city/country level) and the source that referred you to the Site. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. This data may be processed by Google on servers outside Turkey. Storage for advertising and ad personalisation is switched off.
4. Map (Google Maps)
To show our company address on the contact page, we embed Google LLC's Google Maps service. The map loads when you open the contact page, independently of your choice in the cookie notice. While it loads, your browser connects to Google's servers; Google receives your IP address and browser and device information and may set its own cookies. The names, purposes and retention periods of those cookies are set by Google and described in the Google Privacy Policy; this data may be processed by Google on servers outside Turkey.
If you prefer the map not to load, our address is also shown at the bottom of every page, and you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings.
5. Changing Your Consent
You can withdraw or give your consent to analytics cookies at any time through the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page. When you withdraw it, Google Analytics is switched off and the _ga cookies are deleted.
You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings; however, blocking parpa_lead_csrf may prevent you from submitting the contact/quote forms.
6. Changes to This Policy
If a new cookie or storage technology is added to the Site, this policy will be updated to list it.
